Volunteers took training about lifting and shifting of patient on the 6th day of Aapda Mitra Training Camp

In SBS Nagar, volunteers are being trained in the Aapda Mitra Training Camp to provide immediate assistance during any type of disaster, so that they can work with the district administration to provide immediate assistance to the people in case of earthquake, flood, cyclone, landslide and other disasters. In this regard, a few days ago, Aapda Mitra Training Camp was started at Lamrin Tech Skills University in SBS Nagar district under the leadership of Course Director Prof. Jog Singh Bhatia ji (Senior Consultant, Mahatma Gandhi State Institute of Public Administration, Chandigarh).Today on the sixth day, the volunteers were given information about lifting and shifting patients by the trainers and practical training was also given by his team. Along with this, information was given about the working of Incident Response System during emergency, improvised stretcher and landslide so that volunteers can protect themselves and the society during these disasters. Shilpa Thakur (Senior Research), Yogesh Uniyal (Coordinator), Sunil Jaryal, Gulshan Hira, Amanpreet Kaur, Stanzin Sela, Kumari Noornisha, Harkirat Singh, Yogesh Bhardwaj, Shubham Verma, Sachin Sharma and Anshuman Sharda are giving training to volunteers in this camp.
