S.D. College Hoshiarpur Organizes an Expert Lecture to Promote Awareness About the Importance of Cleanliness.
(TTT) Under the leadership of Dr. Hema Sharma, President, S.D. College Managing Committee, Secretary Shri Shri Gopal Sharma, and Principal Dr. Savita Gupta Aeri, the NSS Unit of S.D. College, Hoshiarpur hosted an expert lecture on the topic “Cleanliness is the best service” on the eve of NSS Day wherein Dr Gurcharan Singh, Head of the Department of Punjabi addressed the students. He elaborated on the deep connection between cleanliness and health, stressing how a cleaner environment can reduce diseases and improve the quality of life for all. The event, attended by a large audience of students and faculty members, emphasized the importance of cleanliness as a crucial element of public service and societal well-being. The event met a resounding success, left the audience inspired to take more responsibility for maintaining cleanliness in their personal lives and communities. NSS Officer of the College Mrs Manpreet Kaur and Mrs Neha were also present on this occasion.
