Dr. Gurpreet Kaur, wife of Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Singh Mann, today reached the residence of Deputy Speaker Punjab Legislative Assembly Jai Krishna Rouri. During this, the Deputy Speaker welcomed him on reaching home and discussed the development works done in Garhshankar Assembly constituency. On this occasion, MLA Mahilkalan Kulwant Singh Pandori, Verka Chairman Narinder Singh Shergill, Chief Minister’s OSD Onkar Singh were also present with him.
Deputy Speaker Jai Krishna Singh Rowdhi said that Dr. Gurpreet Kaur obtained information about the development of Garhshankar assembly constituency and told that Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Singh Mann is taking personal interest in the development of every assembly constituency of the state. And as per the demand of the people, they are getting development work done in the assembly constituencies. He said that the record work done in the public interest by the Punjab Government in just one and a half year’s tenure would hardly have been done by any other government.
Deputy Speaker Rouri honored the guests and said that work is being done very seriously on every important issue of Garhshankar so that maximum facilities can be provided to the people.
