Rayat Bahra International School students won gold medal in volleyball

School students will show their strength in National Championship

Hoshiarpur/ Daljeet Ajnoha /Sept.25(TTT) Students from Rayat Bahra International School showcased an outstanding performance in the CBSE Cluster 18 (2024-25) Volleyball Championship (Girls) and secured the gold medal. The competition took place at Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School, Sultanpur Lodhi, where schools from 18 districts of Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir participated.
In the Under-14 Girls Volleyball competition, the Rayat Bahra International School team impressed everyone with their remarkable gameplay. Harmanpreet Kaur was named the best player of the tournament. Following this victory, the school team earned a spot in the National Volleyball Championship. Team members Harmanpreet Kaur, Jasleen Shahi, Divyanshi, Harsahaj Kaur, Bhavana Tak, Manmeet Kaur, Harleen Sindhu, and Tanisha performed excellently.
On this occasion, the school’s Principal, Dr. Hardeep Singh, and Rayat Bahra Hoshiarpur’s Campus Director, Dr. Chandra Mohan, congratulated all the students, parents, and school staff for this achievement. They mentioned that the school will continue to actively participate in such events to promote the all-round development of students.
Dr. Kuldeep Walia, expressing joy over the team’s success, stated, “The dedication and discipline displayed by the students in this competition are commendable. This victory is a result of their hard work and team spirit.”
Volleyball coach Jagdeep Singh expressed his pride, saying, “We are proud that our team has made the school proud at the state level with their performance. We are confident that they will play with the same zeal and enthusiasm at the national level.”Chairman Gurvinder Singh Bahra also extended his congratulations to the team and said that the school will continue to participate in such events, progressing steadily in sports. The sports department teachers and the group staff were also congratulated on this success.
