Education Minister assured to fill the vacancies soon
2500 E. T. T. 700 teachers out of teachers will go to Hoshiarpur district: Harjot Singh Bains
Hoshiarpur, 27 March:(TTT) MLA Dr. Ishak Kumar raised the matter of vacancies for teachers in primary and secondary schools in Chabbewal constituency today in Punjab Vidhan Sabha, on which Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains assured them to fill these vacancies soon.
ਡਾ. Ishak Kumar appealed to the Education Minister to fill the vacancies in schools of Chabbewal constituency as soon as possible to strengthen the level of education. He said that according to the existing statistics, many schools are still facing a severe shortage of teachers for whom the vacancies should be filled with special attention to the Education Minister.
In response to the MLA’s appeal, Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains said that there was a severe shortage of teachers in the schools of Chabbewal constituency during the past, but the Punjab government did not allow any school teachers to stay in the constituency. They said there is currently a teacher shortage in 119 primary schools in the province which is being completed soon. They said that Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is coming on 1st April 2500. T. Appointment letters are going to be given to T teachers out of which 700 teachers will meet Hoshiarpur district bringing 99 per cent number of teachers in schools of the district.
