Inauguration of WCTA International Training Centre at Lamrin Tech Skills University, Punjab,
Hoshiarpur/3 September /Daljeet Ajnoha(TTT) In the landmark event on the occasion of International Sports Day, Lamrin Tech Skills University (LTSU), Punjab, proudly inaugurated the first-of-its-kind WCTA International Training Centre. The inauguration of this centre marks a significant milestone in the advancement of sports training in India, offering a world-class platform to nurture the next generation of taekwondo champions.The event was graced by the presence of two-time Olympian and acclaimed World Champion, Patrycja Adamkiewicz, who co-founded WCTA India, along with Shivam Tyagi, renowned international taekwondo player, member of the Indian national team & Founder and Director of WCTA India. Their participation not only highlighted the event, but also brought a spirit of sportsmanship and excellence that inspired all attendees.In addition to the esteemed chief guests, the inauguration was attended by Mr. Aman Kumar and Mr. Rahul Rana, officials from WCTA India, alongside Dr. Rajiv Mahajan, Registrar of LTSU, and Mr. Satbir Singh Bajwa, Joint Registrar. Speaking on the event Mr. Bajwa highlights that the WCTA International Training Centre at LTSU will serve as a premier platform where both national and international taekwondo players can receive training from internationally renowned coaches. This facility is set to provide athletes with the opportunity to hone their skills under the guidance of the best in the field, ensuring they meet the highest standards of competitive excellence.
The Assistant Director, Ram Mehar Singh, from the University School of Physical Education and Sports, Deans and Directors of all the university schools along with the entire sports team and coaches, were also present, further emphasizing the event’s importance. The Students from the various sports and academic departments also witnessed the grand event.
