ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਹੁਸ਼ਿਆਰਪੁਰ ਦੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਖਰੀਦ ਕੇਂਦਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਝੋਨੇ ਦੀ ਖ਼ਰੀਦ ਦਾ ਅੰਕੜਾ 4 ਲੱਖ ਮੀਟ੍ਰਿਕ ਟਨ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਰ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਕੋਮਲ ਮਿੱਤਲ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਬੀਤੀ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਤੱਕ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੰਡੀਆਂ ਵਿਚ 403910 ਮੀਟ੍ਰਿਕ ਟਨ ਝੋਨੇ ਦੀ ਆਮਦ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਸਾਰੇ 403910 ਮੀਟ੍ਰਿਕ ਟਨ ਝੋਨੇ ਦੀ ਖ਼ਰੀਦ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਖ਼ਰੀਦੇ ਗਏ ਝੋਨੇ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਪਨਗਰੇਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ 158518 ਮੀਟ੍ਰਿਕ ਟਨ, ਮਾਰਕਫੈਡ ਵੱਲੋਂ 103937 ਮੀਟ੍ਰਿਕ ਟਨ, ਪਨਸਪ ਵੱਲੋਂ 72493 ਮੀਟ੍ਰਿਕ ਟਨ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਟੇਟ ਵੇਅਰਹਾਊਸ ਕਾਰਪੋਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ 54326 ਮੀਟ੍ਰਿਕ ਟਨ, ਐਫ.ਸੀ.ਆਈ ਵੱਲੋਂ 11627 ਮੀਟ੍ਰਿਕ ਟਨ ਅਤੇ ਵਪਾਰੀਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ 3009 ਮੀਟ੍ਰਿਕ ਟਨ ਝੋਨੇ ਦੀ ਖ਼ਰੀਦ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ 860.38 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਅਦਾਇਗੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਬਗੈਰ ਸੁਪਰ ਸਟਰਾਅ ਮੈਨੇਜਮੈਂਟ ਸਿਸਟਮ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਕੰਬਾਇਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕਟਾਈ ਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਫ਼ਸਲ ਦੀ ਕਟਾਈ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪਰਾਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ਸਲੀ ਰਹਿੰਦ-ਖੂੰਹਦ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗ ਨਾ ਲਗਾ ਕੇ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਯੋਗ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ।
