Engineers Day Celebrated at Rayat Bahra Engineering College
Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/Sept.16(TTT) Engineers Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Rayat Bahra Engineering College. The event saw participation from all the staff and students of the college. The Principal, Dr. Gurjeet Singh, highlighted that engineers play a crucial role at the interface between science and society. To honor the significant contributions of hardworking engineers, the birth anniversary of Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya was observed as Engineers Day, acknowledging his impact on hydro energy in India.
The program featured various competitions, showcasing the talents of students from each department. Competitions included poster making on themes such as “Best of Waste” and “World After 2050.” These events aimed to foster a spirit of competition among aspiring engineers. Winners of the poster making competition were Komal, Samaira, Khushi, Gabriella, and Muskan, while Anmol won the Best Out of Waste competition.
On this occasion, Chairman of Rayat Bahra Group, Gurwinder Singh Bahra, and Campus Director, Dr. Chander Mohan, extended their congratulations to all the engineers of the college and wished them a bright future. At the conclusion of the program, Principal Dr. Gurjeet Singh awarded medals and certificates to the winners. He praised the event coordinator, Engineer Rupinder Kaur, for her exceptional organization of the event and for providing valuable guidance to the students, which will aid them in their journey to becoming successful engineers.
