
BSF RECOVERS DRONES, PISTOL ON PUNJAB BORDER

Based on specific inputs of BSF intelligence wing, vigilant BSF troops conducted multiple operations leading to the recovery of 02 drones, 01 pistol and 06 pistol magazines in the border area of Amritsar, Tarn Taran and Ferozepur districts.
a) Yesterday evening, the BSF troops recovered 01 small drone and 06 pistol magazines from a farming field near village Daoke of district Amritsar. The drone and three magazines were in completely broken state.
b) In another incident yesterday evening, the vigilant BSF troops, subsequent to interception of a drone movement, launched a search operation in collaboration with Punjab Police and at about 06:25 pm, successfully recovered 01 DJI Mavic- 3 Classic drone in damaged condition from a farming field adjacent to village- wan in Tarn Taran.
c) Today, in a search operation, BSF troops seized 01 pistol wrapped in yellow adhesive tape at about 08:25 am, from a farming field adjacent to village- Gatti Rajoke of district Ferozepur.
- These successful recoveries of drones, pistol and magazines underscores the keen vigilance and unwavering commitment of the BSF troops and Punjab Police in safeguarding the nation’s borders and curbing cross-border smuggling activities.
