Awareness rally against drug abuse was taken out by District Legal Services Authority
– District and Sessions Judge, Deputy Commissioner and SSP participated in the rally
Nawanshahr/ 22 October/Daljeet Ajnoha(TTT)A massive awareness rally-cum-walkathon was taken out today from Government Senior Secondary Smart School, Langroa to keep the general public and youth away from drug abuse under the guidelines of the city by SAS District Legal Services Authority Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, Executive Chairman of National Legal Services Authority and Punjab State Legal Services Authority. The rally was flagged off by District and Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman District Legal Services Authority Priya Sood. Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Dhiman, SSP Dr. Mehtab Singh, CGM-cum-Secretary District Legal Services Authority Dr. Amandeep and all judicial officers were present on this occasion. Apart from these, employees of District Legal Services Authority office, teachers, employees of Sanjha Kendra and all Panchayat members also participated in this rally. On this occasion, District and Sessions Judge Priya Sood said that the main objective of this rally is to make common people and youth aware about staying away from drugs. She said that every youth should do some work and avoid bad company and stay away from drugs. She said that youth should participate more in sports and love sports to live a healthy life. She said that with the cooperation of everyone, a fair and healthy society can be established only through these small efforts.
