Accused arrested with 500 grams of opium

As per the instructions of the Punjab Government, a special campaign has been launched to control anti-social elements and drug smugglers. Under which, under the leadership of SI Baljinder Singh Malhi SHO Mahilpur, ASI Onkar Singh, in-charge of police post Saila Khurd, had blocked the main road of village Badhoan Adda. Meanwhile, a person coming on foot from village Badhoan was stopped on the basis of suspicion. When searched, 500 grams of opium was recovered from him. He identified himself as Rajesh Kumar, son of Madan Gopal, resident of Mugowal , A case registered against the accused by the police under Section 18/61/85 NDPS Act and Further action registered has been initiated.
