In our drive to curb illicit liquor in wake of upcoming panchayati elections. Under the supervision of ETO Preet
(TTT) Bhupinder Singh hsp-2 , in a joint operation with local police raid was conducted by EI Amit Vyas, EI Naresh Sahota and EI Lovepreet Singh EI Ajay Kumar EI Kulwant singh with excise police at Mand area of Miani (Tanda) where 7 tarpals were recovered, total 3500 kg lahan were destroyed on the spot.
In another raid at village Miani and Abdullahpur various houses were searched without any recoverey.
In addition to this, a raid was conducted in house of Roop lal s/o Gurdas Ram at chandigarh colony, Tanda , where 20 lts of illicit liquor was seized and the accused has been handed over to PS Tanda to register FIR against him
