Guest Lecture at S.D. College, Hoshiarpur Highlights Loss of Global Talent and its Implications
Hoshiarpur, [Date](TTT) Under the leadership of Dr. Hema Sharma, President, S.D. College Managing Committee, Secretary Shri Shri Gopal Sharma, and Principal Dr. Savita Gupta Aeri, the Dept. of Punjabi, S.D. College, Hoshiarpur, hosted an insightful guest lecture on the topic “Addressing the Loss of Global Talent for Sustainable Future” to discuss the critical issue of global talent loss and its implications. Prof. Bhupinder Singh, a famous solicitor from the Supreme Court of England and Wales, a celebrated writer, and a prominent Sikh Historian, was the guest speaker who emphasized the importance of retaining and nurturing talent in our own country. He shared that every student has the potential to thrive in their own country.
In addition, Prof. S.S. Kapoor, another speaker of the day, also addressed the students and highlighted the value of education and hard work. He said that though students have to face numerous challenges in India, yet their diligence and perseverance will surely lead them to have better career options on their own land.
Prof. Bhupinder Singh, who is also a former professor at S.D. College Hoshiarpur, donated Rs 11000 to the college. Principal Dr. Savita Gupta Aeri welcomed Prof. Bhupinder Singh, Prof. S.S. Sood, and their family in the college and expressed to them her gratitude for donating this handsome amount to the college.
This guest lecture was attended by a large number of students and faculty members. Dr. Gurcharan Singh, also the Coordinator of this guest lecture, handled the stage. Prof. Prabhkiran Kaur, Dr. Deepika Thalia, Prof. Rajwinder, Prof. Khushdeep, Prof. Money, Prof. Vipan Kumar were also present on this occasion.
