Indian Karate players performed brilliantly in South Africa/ Rajiv Walia
Kapurthala/Daljeet Ajnoha/6 September(TTT) Indian Karate players went to South Africa to participate in the International Training Course and Tournament on behalf of Amateur Karate Do Association of India. The Indian team participated in the tournament under the leadership of Rajiv Walia, President of Amateur Karate Do Association (Registered) India. Master Eric Govender of South Africa taught the players new tricks of Karate and the players performed brilliantly in the tournament. In the senior category, Avneet Kaur Dhaliwal, Rahul Chaudhary and Parampreet Singh brought laurels to India by securing first, second and Rohit and Jaswinder secured third positions. Master Eric Govender honoured the winners by giving them medals and certificates and congratulated them. He said that President of Amateur Karate Do Association of India, Rajiv Walia, is doing a great job of promoting Karate in India as well as helping needy players. Thanking Master Eric Govender, Rajiv Walia said that Karate seminars will be organised in every region of India, in which qualified coaches will be made available to teach new techniques of self-defence to boys and girls.
