Rayat Bahra Management College’s Commerce Department Organizes Seminar on Online Banking Scams
Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha /Sept.4(TTT) The Commerce Department of Rayat Bahra Management College organized an informative seminar on “Online Banking Scams.” The session was led by Principal Dr. Harinder Singh Gill and Department Head Prof. Davinder Thakur.
The seminar featured Jatinder Bansal, Manager of Punjab National Bank, who has over eight years of experience in the field. He provided crucial insights into various online scams, including phishing, ATM hacking, data security, and phone security. Following this, Davinder Singh, a Financial Literacy Counselor, and Raj Kumar from CRISIL, educated students on strategies and precautions to avoid falling victim to such scams. The experts enhanced the seminar’s relevance by sharing real-life examples, making it highly interactive and engaging.
The seminar concluded with an interactive Q&A session and a vote of thanks. Students found the event highly informative and beneficial. Professors Ankita Thakur, Lovepreet, Lovepreet Singh, and Mehak Nanda were also present on the occasion.
