He has come to Garhshankar in Sri Anandpur Sahib Lok Sabha constituency today with the aim of converting the slogan given by the Election Commission of conducting ‘Green Elections’ into ground reality. He asked the Assistant Returning Officer to prepare a plan to give necessary guidelines to the polling parties for the complete implementation of the ‘Green Election’ campaign at the polling stations. Along with arranging minimum facilities for the voters coming to all the polling booths on the day of polling, he also asked them to arrange various types of plants for them so that the voters coming to the polling booth to cast their vote can use the saplings received from the polling booth as their own. Celebrate the festival of democracy by planting it in your home or field.
